For four weeks now we have prepared our hearts and minds for the celebration of the TRUE Christmas season. According to traditional Polish custom it lasts from the celebration of Midnight Mass on December 24th, beyond the Feast of the Three Kings, all the way until February 2nd or “Candlemass Day.” When the secular “holiday season” is long gone and over, we believers will still be proclaiming the new born Christ to the world. We have kept the spirit of Advent with deepened prayer and penance…now may the JOY of the new born Christ fill our hearts and minds, so that our celebration of His Nativity may bear abundant spiritual fruits for us as individuals, for the Holy Church, and for the entire world.
Please take a special look at the Mass schedule for the upcoming week. There are many important and beautiful feasts coming up in the Liturgical calendar of our Church.
