Today’s Feast of Christ the King ends the liturgical year ushering in (next Sunday) the Season of Advent. As the secular market place gears up to get crowds out for the consumerist consumption of what it merely calls “the holiday season”, let us in faith and contemplative expectation of the celebration of the Birth of Our Lord, permeate the Holy Season of Advent.
